Symbiosis Society's Afro Asian Cultural Museum
The Afro Asian Cultural Museum was established on 19th December 2001 and was inaugurated by the then President of India, Hon'ble H.E. Shri K. R. Narayanan. Hundreds of artifacts from various countries have turned the Symbiosis Society's Afro Asian Cultural Museum into an enriching experience for those who have passion for learning culture of various countries.
This 1800 sq.ft. space has almost come alive with history, art and culture of different countries. The information has been displayed as per continents.
Each section has an array of artifacts, currency, national costumes and information panels. Each panel elaborates detailed profile of the country, its location, history, culture, sports, national anthem and languages. At present 68 panels have been displayed in the museum. User friendly touch screen facility at the entrance is an added advantage. The museum also provides information about the history of Symbiosis through a series of photographs. Audio guide facility is an added attraction for visitors.
