All foreign nationals are expected to register at the Foreigner’s Registration Office (Police Commissioner’s Office) within 14 days of their arrival in India. Post registration, such students are provided a residential permit, which they must carry on person at all, times.
The International Office provides a single window service from FRO to the international students. The Police Inspector from the Police Commissioner’s office is available at the International Office on every Thursday between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to collect the papers from the students not only for the Foreigners Registration but also for other matters like extension of Visa, extension of Residential Permit. This is the facility, which is offered at the Symbiosis International Office to help students, as they are new to this place and city. |
