Hon’ble Prof. Dr. S B Mujumdar, the Founder and President, Symbiosis, and Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), established Symbiosis in 1971 on the core values of interdependence, co-existence, cooperation, compassion, mutual trust, love and harmony, for the welfare of international students. Founded on the guiding principle of Symbiosis “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: The world is one family”, SCAE aims to nurture and strengthen a long lasting relationship with the PAN-Symbiosis alumni community spread across the world.
Each one of Symbiosis Alumni has been a contributor to this success story of Symbiosis. Alumni are well connected to the institutions that they have graduated from. SCAE is a platform to engage with fellow alumni of institute where one graduates from but also to interact and engage with alumni of other institutes.
As its engagement initiatives - SCAE is closely working with Symbiosis alumni to know new ideas and new initiatives to be taken at national and international level. Formation of Global Advisory board, Formation of Chapters, Participation in Social responsibility Initiates, Participation in the Healthcare initiatives of SUHRC to name few. SCAE is helping alumni to realize their dreams of innovation, entrepreneurships by making alumni as part of its innovation and incubation centre established at Symbiosis. SCAE invites alumni to participate in national as well as international seminars, workshops, and technical events that showcase their skills and accomplishments. Alumni can deliver lectures, mentoring sessions and coaching for fellow alumni, on-campus conferences to promote interaction between stalwarts of Academia and Industry. Alumni can support students and fellow alums through mentoring, career guidance, provide internships and / or recruitment opportunities. Alumni can help shape future either by being a reviewer of various academic committees as external expert. Alumni can achieve a sense of fulfilment and social responsibility by participating in Symbiosis’s ISR Activities.
